Questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste one line into your website's settings. Most website builders have a "custom code" or "footer code" box for exactly this.
How long does it take?
About five minutes of your time. Reading your site takes a couple of minutes, and recording the avatar interactions takes a little while longer. We email you the moment your guide is ready.
What if a visitor asks something you didn't prepare?
Your guide gives a short text answer using only the business information you approved. If that doesn't cover it either, it tells the visitor how to contact you.
Can I change answers later?
Yes. Edit any answer in your dashboard and we re-record only the ones you changed.
What face can my guide have?
Your real face, a styled version of your real face (anime, cartoon or comic), or an animal or mascot face as the reference. You can also use a team member who has agreed, or an AI-created character you have the rights to. Please don't upload celebrities or anyone who hasn't given permission.
What if I'm not happy with it?

What's the free website redesign?

Can my guide take bookings?
Yes, in two ways. If you already use a booking system, add a "Book now" button to any answer that links to it, or to your phone number or email. If you don't, your guide can collect booking requests with a short form you design (name, phone, preferred date, anything you need) and email each one to you so you can confirm. It doesn't book into your calendar by itself. Keep forms to contact and scheduling details, and don't ask for medical or payment information.
Can I remove the Mugam branding?
Yes. Guides show a small mugam.site badge by default. Add "Remove Mugam branding" for $20 at checkout and your guide is fully white-label.
Can my guide be an animal or a mascot?
Yes. Upload a clear, front-facing image of the character and we'll bring it to life. Faces with a visible mouth and eyes work best.
Does it slow down my website?
No. The guide loads after your page and only loads an avatar interaction when a visitor asks a question.
